A grounds paper for private gardens

Loamwork

Front page

The lawn is a crop with a calendar

Loamwork mows, edges, clips, feeds, and clears private gardens on the Sharon plain and in the villa streets north of the Yarkon.

A freshly cut lawn with alternating light and dark mowing stripes, bordered by shrubs and trees.
A striped cut. The pale band is the mower leaning the blade one way; the dark band is the return.

On the Sharon plain a lawn is not a carpet rolled out for a photograph. It is a warm-season crop, mostly Bermuda or kikuyu, asked to look composed beside a house built for shade, olives, and a dry east wind. The work is repetitive on purpose. Height, edge, water, and the week of the year do more for the sward than any bottle with a green label.

This issue is dated 29 October 2026. The first real rain is the question on every controller in the district. Leaves from the ficus hedge and the olive are sitting on turf that is still being watered on a July programme. A soaked mat on a lawn, plus a clock that has not heard of autumn, is how a good garden goes dull before the winter growth — or the winter rest — begins.

A stripe is a record of the last pass, not a decoration.

Yard book, week of 29 October

We work Sunday to Thursday, and Friday morning only. Saturday the gate on Charoshet is shut. The round is Ramat HaSharon, Herzliya, Kfar Shmaryahu, Ra'anana, Hod HaSharon, private houses north of the Yarkon, and Savyon when the morning is given to Savyon. We stop at the Kfar Saba municipal line. We do not take balconies, roof gardens, or a shared building lawn.

Soil at the bed edge. A seasonal feed is a labeled rate, or a thin compost topdress. It is not a cure.

The prices on the Grounds page were set against public gardening tariffs for October 2026. Those lists often leave VAT off. Ours include it, at 18 percent. A one-off cut up to about 100 square metres was being quoted around 350 to 550 shekels before VAT. Our line for turf up to 80 square metres is 531 shekels including VAT, which is 450 before tax, inside that band. A villa lawn is priced as a villa lawn. A short call is not priced as a short call: the minimum visit is 413 shekels including VAT, because the crew still crosses the plain.

From the classified list

The full list, with the small print. The calendar is the Israeli year as it actually hits a lawn here: hamsin, first rain, winter growth, summer browning. If you want a day, the Book page writes a WhatsApp note. The slot is not held until the desk confirms.
